The National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, NCADV, (2015) Domestic violence national statistics, shows that 266 victims were murdered in intimate partner homicides between 2003 and 2012. In a single day, 1,795 victims were served by Massachusetts domestic violence programs and nearly 1 in 3 Massachusetts women has experienced some type of physical violence.

Our organization was founded on a legacy of hope that we can all live in a world without domestic violence. As a way to honor the memory of Sheryl Crane Loder, who was murdered by her estranged husband on January 11th, 2001, her friends banded together to form the Tri-Town Domestic Violence Task Force to support abuse survivors. Before becoming the charter member of Stop Abuse Today, Inc, the Task Force proudly served the citizens of Brimfield, Holland, and Wales Massachusetts for many years.

We strive to build upon that foundation by continuing to focus on domestic violence. Our Domestic Violence Task Force proudly makes every effort to develop strategies that will support survivors and families and provide our citizens with education and awareness about domestic violence.
